There is no term to this agreement. You may cancel your service at any time. Maid For Cleaning Services also reserves the right to cancel your service at any time.

 

All of our cleaning technicians are bonded and insured and have been thoroughly trained.

 

We guarantee that our cleaners will not smoke, eat, drink (other than water) or use any electronic devices in the home.

 

METHOD OF PAYMENT

Since we do not bill for services, payment is expected at time of the cleaning. We accept the following methods of payment: cash, check, and credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express). We accept checks made out to Maid For Cleaning Services or Dawn Stokes. If a check is not left, your credit card will be charged. We require all customers to have a credit card on file to guarantee service. All returned checks incur a $35.00 fee regardless of the reason.

 

NOTE: We require a $75.00 non-refundable deposit for all new cleaning appointments.

 

LATE CANCELLATIONS:

Please call our office no later than 24 hours prior to your cleaning appointment to cancel. Bear in mind that our cleaners are paid based on the jobs that they do, so cancellation translates into less income for them. Frequent cancellations may incur a price increase or losing your slot on the schedule. A $50.00 fee is automatically billed to credit cards for late cancellations.

 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES:

If there is a gap of 5 or more weeks between cleanings, we reserve the right to impose an additional $35 to $50.00 fee. This also applies when your home or office needs extra cleaning after events such as parties, out of town visitors, and construction work.

 

ENTRY TO YOUR HOME OR OFFICE:

For your convenience and to ensure access to your home or office on cleaning-day, we prefer to have a key to your home or office. All keys are coded and kept by the owner. The owner or manager checks keys in/out each day. Before giving us a key, please check to ensure key fits the lock. We require an email address and a back up phone number in case of an emergency. Please make sure all pets are secured away from areas being cleaned.

 

SUMMER HEAT:

Please set your thermostat in the summer between 68-72 degrees while our cleaners are in your home or office. People do a better job when they are not overheated. If you are not home, we will adjust accordingly and reset before we leave.

 

SECURITY ALARMS:

Maid For Cleaning Services is not responsible for any charges from a local police department that is called out due to an activated alarm, which we were not able to deactivate. Please update us on any changes to alarm codes or changing of door locks.

 

CLEANING HOURS:

Maid For Cleaning Services operates Monday through Friday between 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Our office is closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

 

EXCLUSIONS:

Due to insurance and safety constraints, we do not offer the following:

– Outside windows

– Landscape or yard work

– Steam or carpet cleaning

– Mold or bio-hazardous material

– Extermination services (fleas, insects, etc.)

– Pet accidents

– Hoarder conditions

– Lifting items weighing more than 22 lbs. (i.e. furniture)

– Climbing ladders

– Dusting or vacuuming of ceilings or surfaces outside normal reach from the floor

 

100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE:

If for any reason you are not satisfied with some aspect of the cleaning, call us within 24 hours of your cleaning, and we will come back at no change and address the issue(s). We also appreciate any positive feedback and will make sure we pass them on to your cleaner.

 

SICKNESS:

If someone in your home is sick (contagious) please contact our office and we will be happy to reschedule your cleaning.

 

HIRING OF A MAID FOR CLEANING SERVICES STAFF:

You agree not to hire a past or present cleaning technician of Maid For Cleaning Services for a period of not less than 2 years from the date that cleaner last worked for Maid For Cleaning Services. In the event you feel you must hire a cleaning technician of Maid For Cleaning Services, then a $2500.00 referral fee is due immediately upon employment of the past/present employee, regardless of regular employment or on a contractual basis.

 

NOTE: This is not a contract for service but rather an acknowledgment that you have read and understand our policy. By signing below, You authorize Maid For Cleaning Services to charge your account for cleaning. You agree and accept the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.
